Interactive spaces, hybrid spaces, floating spaces, emerging spaces.
Climate change forces us to confront the rising sea levels and the threats they bring. Can we think of new ways to coexist with water?
In Venice, an archipelago city, each island once served a specific purpose. Interactive Design proposes itself as a research laboratory focused on designing spaces (islands) where relationships and interactions are central: interactions for living, for the culture and identity of the place, and for the environment.
How can we harness the opportunities offered by flotation in a future that is already here?
Can the project itself be a form of care?
