This project set out to design three residential units within a narrow, elongated plot—with the clear ambition of preserving architectural cohesion and allowing the entire development to be perceived as a single, unified structure. The design challenge was addressed by responding to the client’s specific needs while optimizing orientation, natural light, and adopting a clean, modern, and minimal architectural language. Defined by its striking optical white façade and refined wooden accents, the building speaks a contemporary language that remains respectful of the surrounding landscape. The massing unfolds through subtle horizontal shifts between volumes, generating a dynamic play of solids and voids, light and shadow. Generous glazing and carefully positioned skylights allow sunlight to sculpt the interior atmosphere throughout the day. The north and south façades, inspired by the archetypal silhouette of a house, are clad in wood and integrate large glazed openings. When open, they act as filters and sunshades, offering a calibrated balance between privacy and brightness. When closed, they become fully opaque, ensuring intimacy and shelter. A clean, rigorous architectural line defines the first-floor slab, topped by a light yet precisely designed overhang, which elegantly completes the upper volume.
